Got up this morning and the garage door wouldn't open. I tried to lift it manually and the door wouldn't budge. Called Excel Doors and got Tira she was so helpful. The technician came out diagnosed the problem. Fixed a broken spring and service the garage door. On the way out I asked the technician to look at the other door real quick. Found a couple problems. Fixed it and didn't charged me nothing!!! Hard to find good honest company. Great job Excel!!!

I got up this morning unable to open my garage door due to a broken spring. I called Excel Doors, and they were very accomodating by providing express service. The technician was and knowledgeable and professional.

Would highly recommend Excel Doors. Yesterday was New Years Day and I was in a panic - I hit my garage door opener but it wouldn't open. After a quick inspection, the top of the door split in a way that even if I disengage the tractor mechanism, I would be unable to manually lift the door. My car was trapped inside the garage and we had a big trip to leave for. I used to use Affordable Garage Door out of Stafford but none of their numbers worked so I called Everett using the emergency number. He called back in 5 minutes and was enormously helpful and reassuring. He gave me a window of between 10:00-12:00 the next day. He showed up at 10:00. There were multiple options - one being to install a new top panel - but it would have cost $400 for the panel alone. He ended up finding a way to use an angle bracket force the two split pieces together and it was far less expensive. The facts that he took part of his New Year's Day to talk to me, that he was so responsive, that he found the option that made him the least amount of money, and that he was so friendly has made me an instant loyal customer. Whenever I work with a company like this where the subject matter is outside of my sphere of competence, I'm always nervous as to whether the solution is really the right fit (and that I'm not getting sold or charged for things I don't need). I feel Everett showed his character today and it makes me happy to give him my recommendation.

What a great company!! Everett arrived on time during the recent heatwave and knock out moving our garage door up to "go along the ceiling." We can't believe the difference in the appearance of the garage of how much larger it looks and switching out the ceiling mounted motor to a wall mounted motor. Also the turn around time from Everett coming out and giving the estimate to have the job completed was 1 week. Scheduling was easy. We fully recommend Excel Doors LLC for any work you many need.

It sounds as though, based on the reviews below, broken springs are a common occurrence. I was basically "locked" into my garage, and even the release cord/lever wouldn't work. I called Excel, and the technician (Everett) was over in a couple of hours (I live in Colonial Beach). He diagnosed and fixed the problem, and my garage door is now gliding open--it's a smooth as silk. I would definitely do business here again.

From the moment I called Excel Doors, I experienced professional and helpful customer service. The customer service rep who answered my call was willing to squeeze me in the same day, but since it wasn't an emergency, I opted for Monday, so their tech wasn't stuck on a call at 6pm on a Friday night. Today, Everrett arrived for my service call at the beginning of my appointment window and quickly diagnosed the problem. He fixed the issue, then adjusted my door so that it properly sealed with the floor when it closed. I really appreciate the fast, friendly, and efficient service that Excel Doors provided when my garage door opener took a holiday. Called Excel Doors LLC this morning they said they would be by at 1pm to 3pm. They were here at 1230pm replaced broken spring in no time. Great quality service highly recommend this company. Tech was professional, friendly and informative. A++++++++++++

The service service tech arrived on time. He did a quick trouble shoot and found the broken part. Contacted another tech in the area who had the part. Got the part installed it, showed me how to code the openers. Very customer oriented. Good job. Excel doors old is highly recommended.

Excel Doors in Stafford, replaced both garage door springs. Everett is honest and professional. He did a great job and explained everything to me. I called around to numerous garage door companies and got ridiculously high prices and their prices changed depending on who I talked to.
